The end of August always brings about the World's Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky. This year marked the 99th anniversary of this prestigious event which showcases top Saddlebred horses and riders from around the country. It is the Show of Shows, the culmination of a lot of hard work and training. Exhibitors strive to bring out the very best in their horses during this weeklong competition. |

</font><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> The end of August always brings about the World's Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky. This year marked the 99th anniversary of this prestigious event which showcases top Saddlebred horses and riders from around the country. It is the Show of Shows, the culmination of a lot of hard work and training. Exhibitors strive to bring out the very best in their horses during this weeklong competition. Their quest is the coveted tri-color "blue" ribbon designating first place, but any ribbon at Louisville is </font><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> well earned.</font><p align="left"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2" color="#FFFFFF">Bill has been attending and exhibiting horses at the World's Championship Horse Show for nearly 20 years. This year was no exception. Both he and Elizabeth rode and drove a half dozen horses between the start of the show on Sunday, August 18th and the culmination on Saturday, August 24th. And they came away with a number of top ribbons!!! </font> <p align="center">

Notice that this isn't just any show ring. Tons of dirt and a layer of green sawdust transform Freedom Hall, home of the Louisville Cardinals, into a premiere riding facility. It's every rider's dream to show at Louisville.</font>
