Bill answers: The extra onions I had yesterday at lunch and the triple diamond hill I skiid last year.

Bill answers: A good plan and a target who has an excellent sense of humor.

Bill answers: R2D2 because he's cute.

Bill answers: Yes; mostly having to do with Leonard's acting.

Bill answers: No, I don't need to do any more Shakespeare roles. As much joy as there is to speak his language, there is an equal amount of hard work to learn it. At a certain age, one cancels the other.
59. Preserver asks: Have you ever seriously considered how to go about creating a Captain Kirk made for TV mini-series based on your Kirk books?
Bill answers: Paramount owns all the rights to Star Trek.

Bill answers: I like the outdoors. I might have done something professionally that involved the outdoors.

Bill answers: I haven seen Nichelle in quite some time but she's still as beautiful as ever. She has a pile of energy and is as cute as a button.

Bill answers: Unfortunately, I have no recollection of the show. Since I don't remember it, how come you do?

Bill answers: No.

Bill answers: What's with the pants and how come you talk so funny?

Bill answers: Yes, I have but it's hard to believe they were ET s and not some inexplicable phenomenon.

Bill answers: I love to cook and I'm the best griller around. My lemon marinade is to die for.
68. JamielenKirk asks: When my son was very small and first saw STTNG, he asked me if the people in the holodeck eat or drink, [will they be] hungry again [after they leave the holodeck]? So I can now give my 16 year-old-son an answer, does the food ?disappear? from their stomachs once they leave the holodeck?
Bill answers: The answer, of course, is neither the figures or the food is real. Therefore, when the holodeck is shut, the illusion is over.
69. Datami6 asks: If you were to meet any of the cast of the original Star Wars saga for dinner or coffee, what would you discuss?
Bill answers: We would discuss why our science fiction worlds were so different and yet so alike. Also, what was with Carrie Fisher's hairstyle?
70. TBonz, Cuzsis, and Diane G all ask: Why do you love horses so much? How did you discover them and what is so appealing about them to you?
Bill answers: I love their form as well as their function. They are soft, gentle, loving creatures capable of tremendous physical activity. They let you participate in all of that wonder with them. It was always there for me even as a young boy.
71. Stalders asks: Have you ever considered coming back as Captain Kirk in a movie that wasn't in any way tied to Paramount [such as a spoof of Kirk/Star Trek ? but not actually playing Kirk]?
Bill answers: The answer to your question is that Paramount owns all the rights to Star Trek. I have, though, done a spoof of myself in a movie called ? Enterprise .? I don't play Kirk in it; rather, I play myself, or a version of myself, that develops a relationship with two young aficionados.
72. Spudgun asks: I'm got married to a woman I met on your website...and for that I'm forever in your debt?[so] my question is, do you know of anybody else that has changed their life because of you or Captain Kirk?
Bill answers: First of all, congratulations! And yes, there are a lot of people whose lives have been changed.
73. Melindamouse asks: There is so much stress in the world today. May I ask how you handle yours?
Bill answers: I shake and swallow rapidly. My blink rate goes up. Seriously, exercise does wonders for me. Sometimes getting outside puts things in perspective.
