	Right now I?m hard at work on ?Boston Legal.? We?re trying to find the level of the show ? how funny versus how serious; how much time the court scenes should take up in the show versus the personal scenes; what makes Denny Crane tick. I love the cast and am having the best time. James Spader and I are developing a wonderful friendship and he?s so talented and interesting it makes me look forward even more to what?s coming next on the show.

Denny Crane was the only reason to watch "The Practice".  I predict good things for "Boston Legal".

All I can say Bill is that I am looking for ward to the coming season and very interested to see where you go with this character.  I have always hoped that a role wouldcome along that allows you the freedom to "spread your acting wings" and I think this is it.  I have a prediction, the show will do well and the episodes in which you appear, will do better.

Anyhow, good luck with the show and looking forward to seeing you once again on a weekly basis.  Has been awhile, right?

Hello Bill!

May I say that I am absolutely thrilled to have stumbled upon your site! I've been a huge fan since the original Star Trek.

I was lucky enough to catch all the spin-offs to your new show on The Practice as it wound down last season. Even though it's sad to see The Practice end, as soon as I saw your Denny Crane character I was hooked.

Add the wonderfully talented James Spader to the mix and I can see a winner in Boston Legal.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other eve, his name is Gert Strode, and we often rendezvous in Parisian cafes to talk Shatner and all things lunar. We chanced upon a waiter who filled us in with his own take on William Shatner - he seemed convinced that Bill was a 'visitor' from another far away planet, and he gave us a checklist of reasons why this was true. Sadly we lost the checklist, but it serves as a great dinnertime story!

As an avid saddlrebred exhibitor myself, I must also congratulate you on your wins with Call Me Ringo at Louisville this week! I think he is quite handsome! And I need a drool cup whenever I see pictures of your stud, WGC Revival. I also think your harness mare from several years ago, Eleanor Rigby, was gorgeous too! Congrats to Elizabeth with her road horse as well! (I'm addicted to the Louisville results online...hehe!)

I just wanted to say that I believe "Denny Crane" has to be the best character you have done IMO!  Brilliant acting!  Or is it... ;}
Great job though, I'm gald to see you back on television after so many years of just doing guest roles or movies and I look forward to watching you.

just watched "boston legal". wonderful work. i think you did an outstanding job, i watched the show only because i saw you were playing denny crane. i will definetly catch the next episode!

Hey Bill,

I have been watching you since on TV since '72, in all the series you have ever been in; Boston Legal (or as I like to call it Capt. James T. Kirk, Attorney at Large) as to be one of the best I have seen.  I have enjoyed every episode, and you prove over and over again what a wonderful actor and person you are in every show.

I also find it very ironic that two of the most beloved characters in recent Star Trek lore find each other here on earth, I mean - of course - Rene Auberjonois, as lawyers of all things.  I hope that you both enjoy long and great success with Boston Legal.  I know I will be watching.

I love Denny Crane. Even when u r being genuinely serious, there is such a mocking lilt to your voice that seems to enrage your opponents. R u going to get a better time slot. Late Sundays is hard to see when u know that dumb shows like Grey's Anatomy is in the best slot. You rock. I love how you ate Freddy Prinze Jr. That was priceless. I love how the show ends with you just sitting on the balcony. Lonely, but so much in control....
