Since you all seem to love my Dad's A's to Your Q's, I thought I'd try it myself. So here goes with Lisabeth's Hot Ten:

Lisabeth's Hot Ten
Since you all seem to love my Dad's A's to Your Q's, I thought I'd try it myself. So here goes with Lisabeth's Hot Ten:
Littlestar asked: If you were casting your own Star Trek command, what character/assignment would you be?
Answer: Well, this is a tough question for me, since you-know-who has already taken up space in the Captain's chair. I definitely have issues with authority ( I HATE to be told what to do - just ask my Dad!) so I think I'd have to be some kind of officer. Do I dare say it? Okay - I'd be the Captain!!!!
Billy asked: What is your favorite movie of all time?
Answer: Wow, another toughie. I have to go with The Matrix because I can watch it over and over without getting tired of it. I love the story and the special effects. Other favorites are: Aliens, American Beauty, Lord of the Rings, When Harry met Sally, Heat, The Usual Suspects, The Fugitive. I have so many, I could go on and on…
Warped 1 asked: What is your favorite Star Trek movie?
Answer: I have to admit my sentimental favorite is Star Trek Two; I think the way the age issues were handled made me love the characters even more than I already did.
Retrotrek asked: If you were a piece of art, what would you look like?
Answer: With my interest in art, I really loved this question. I would WANT to look like a Monet, with all those soft colors and wonderful serenity and magic; but, I FEEL more like a Picasso - interesting, but fragmented.
Khan asked: Do you believe in aliens?
Answer: Yes, definitely. In fact, a couple of them live on my block.
Sueinbrum asked: What makes your blood boil?
Answer: Cruelty, especially to little kids and animals.
Peg asked: Do you use any Star Trek quotes in everyday life?
Answer: I admit to saying, "Beam me up, Scotty!" when stuck in traffic.
Melded asked: If you could change one event in your life, what would it be? Answer: I know the answer to this one! When I was a senior in high school, I drove a beat up old Capri every day to school. One morning, I was backing down the steep driveway from my Dad's house, which has an electric gate that is SUPPOSED to open automatically when you get close to it. Well, I guess I wasn't looking (I still maintain TO THIS DAY that the gate was malfunctioning), and I backed right into the gate. It tore off the hinges and landed on top of my car! My Dad came running out of the house to see what happened. Naturally, I thought my life was over. I was prepared to die, hopefully quickly, in some merciful beheading ceremony. I bowed my head in preparation, but all he did was look at me, look at the gate, and then walk back up the hill and into the house. He didn't talk to me for two weeks, but I figured I got off easy. I'd have to say that the one event I would change would be to have looked more carefully at what the gate was doing before I crashed into it!
Warped 1 asked: Do you have any tattoos?
Answer: Yes, I have one on my right ankle; it's of roses and butterflies and goes about halfway around my ankle.
Websuspect asked: Do you talk to your Dobermans?
Answer: This question was originally for my Dad, but I thought I'd answer for us both. Yes, we both talk to our animals - I've heard my Dad whisper sweet nothings in both his dobies' ears! I am EMBARRASSED at how many nicknames I have for my boxer - I'm not sure he even knows his real name anymore. I love my animals so much, I think I probably talk to them more than I talk to some of my friends. Hey - they always have nice things to say back, so can you blame me?
