I found this to be a very successful post the first time around - so I thought that I would try it again by answering some more questions from the message board. Here are the answers you have been waiting for?
Amikael asked: How do you feel about a transporter now being possible?
Answer: Scientists managed to transport a photon, a particle of light. It's a far cry from a particle of life, although I'm excited about the future the experiment suggests. Anything is possible.
Peg asked: If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be?
Answer: I would be Capt. Ahab, because if you're in line and they're going alphabetically, I would be first.
Ason 82 asked: Describe yourself in one word.
Answer: Abstract.
Yentamyrl asked: What has life taught you about love and marriage?
Answer: The sublime connection between two human beings is a committed relationship filled with love.
Mkbrug asked: What is your favorite Star Trek movie?
Answer: Five, because it was the best directed.
Erifah asked: Who would you have liked to direct a Star Trek movie?
Answer: Spielberg because he's the preeminent storyteller of our age - he's innovative, imaginative, productive, organized, and a wonderful asset to me on Star Trek Five.
Warped 1 asked: Does age matter in a relationship?
Answer: Yes, because if you're older, the likelihood is that you'll die sooner and there is a feeling of sadness that your partner will be prematurely left alone.
Sean Newhouse asked: How far are you on your new book?
Answer: Two blocks.
Peg asked: Describe a love/hate relationship.
Answer: I love Chinese food; I hate the calories.
Sueinbrum asked: Did the writers of Star Trek mean for Capt. Kirk to be a human or a superhero?
Answer: Human, in that he was always in a dilemma and needed to solve certain problems. Plus, he had to fit into a very tight tunic after breakfast.
