On January 7th, William Shatner's much anticipated Groom Lake will be released on DVD by Shadow Entertainment. The movie is a science fiction love story set against the backdrop of a small desert town in southeastern Arizona.

January 7th, 2003, William Shatner's much anticipated
Groom Lake will be released on video/DVD
by Shadow Entertainment. The movie is a science
fiction love story set against the backdrop
of a small desert town in southeastern Arizona.

</font><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">centers
around a beautiful young woman named Kate played
by Amy Acker (Angel), who has a terminal
illness and sets out to prove the existence
of extraterrestrials, thereby reaffirming that
life does not end with the death of our physical
bodies. </font>
<p align="left"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">In
the movie, Kate and her husband Andy </font><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">
played by Dan Gauthier (Excessive Force II,
Teen Witch) travel to an eccentric desert
town called Groom Lake on the outskirts of a
military base. The town, made famous by tall
stories of UFO and alien encounters, lures the
young couple in. Soon they find themselves witness
to strange events and sightings. Ultimately,
their investigation brings them face to face
with a military conspiracy and the truth behind
the alien mystery. </font>

<p align="left"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">UFO
investigators may recognize Groom Lake as one
of the many names associated with a secret United
States military facility located about 90 miles
north of Las Vegas. Also known as Area 51, the
site is believed to be a testing ground for
sophisticated aircraft and has long been associated
with UFO sightings.</font>

<p align="left"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2" color="#FFFFFF">William
Shatner directed Groom Lake from a screenplay
by Maurice Hurley. The film was executive produced
by Charles Band and William Shatner, produced
by J.R. Bookwalter and Chuck Williams, and additionally
stars Dick Van Patten (Eight is Enough)
and Tom Towles (The Rock, Prophecy II).
William Shatner plays the part of Colonel John
Gossner. The film runs 92 minutes.</font>
