I?ve had a wonderful year this year, full of love and success. I wish you all the same kind of year this coming year.   |
| In fact, I wish the same for myself! Let?s all hope and send the right vibrations that our country has an equally successful year full of love and compassion. And, always, a special ?thank you? and heartfelt holiday good wishes to the troops that can?t be home for the holidays this year. We send them love and peace and hope they?ll be home soon. |

Merry Cristmas to you and your family.
I am a mature age student (33 years old) who returned to shcool and have just finished 6 years of study. I now have a bachelor of Business (International Business), a bachelor of Arts (International Studies) and a bachelor of Arts from France (European Business) and 3 years of French language studies. In order to get into uni I first went back to night school to complete my high school certificate. This was a long and tuff road but with the support of my wife and friends I made it through. My reasons for telling you this is to let you know that you have also inspired me. I am looking for work and am continually being told no which is surprising when I finished in the top 15% of students. I was beggining to feel down about my career options when I heard your new project (Common People). Once again I am lifted to the upper realms of positive motivation. Your life has been filled with success after success and is still continuing. I know we all go through tuff times but as long as we have people like yourself who continually excel we can gain comfort in the fact that there is always hope.
I look forward to your next project with great anticipation.
Regards to Elizabeth.
Merry Christmas and a safe New Year to all your fans.

Mr. S.,
Thanks for the sentiments for us all and the troops. I hope you and yours have a great Christmas as well!
On a side note about the year in retrospect, I just watched a new fave show the other night, Boston Legal. This year, you hooked me on that show. You mention success--you deserve it. The entertainment industry seems like a "what have you done for me lately?" kind of place. I guess all you have to say to them this year is, well, "Denny Crane."
Seems like Crane is pure Shatner, and pure gold. Aside from all the other stuff you did this year (did paintball help inform your sniping scene, Bill?), you're pulling it off better than ever.
Have a great new year.
PS--By the way, I just have to say that the sniper's scene in BL has to go down as one of the most famous scenes of the year, if not in TV history. It's made me laugh for the past four days every time I think of it.

Happy holidays to you and your family, Mr. Shatner,
This past spring, Henry Rollins visited our campus and spoke with excitement about his appearance on "Has Been" and ever since I have been dying to hear it. I sought it out on the day of it's release, and have not been disappointed at all. It received a great deal of airplay on our modest college radio station, WSMU, and we are hoping for a follow up! I wish you a wonderful and successful new year (even if it doesn't include a visit to our radio station!), and please keep up the good work with your show and music.

Hello Mr. Shatner!
This is after Christmas... January 7th, 2005, but I thought I would take a shot to see if you would read my e-mail. I am a huge fan of yours and really would like to meet you one day. I love Star Trek, the original series. We purchased series one on DVD for my ten year son who has also became a great fan of yours as well. I was six years old when your origianal series was aired. You are a wonderful actor! I wish you all the best.
Kindest regards,

Hi, Bill, I am hoping you will read this. I know everyone here is a big fan of yours. I've been a fan of yours since I was a little girl of 4 years old when the first season of the original series of Star Trek was on tv. My dad and mom could testify to that. Not just Kirk, but you became a hero to me. The admiration has never dwindled. My husband gave me a great Christmas gift that I'll treasure. He gave me all three seasons of the original Star Trek. Thank you for being who you are and for taking on the role of Captain Kirk. You are an awesome man.
With all my love, sairalinde2
