I've been on many talk shows, but I really enjoyed my appearance on Politically Incorrect last week. Unfortunately, the show is going off the air soon, so Bill Maher wanted to have some of his favorite guests back, well, before it was too late. Other guests on the show that night included: Al Franken, Lisa Pinto and Rania Masri. I felt honored that he asked me to appear once again on his show. Bill's a fun guy who reminds me of a "class grump" you know, the kid that is always in trouble with the teachers, the principle, and the class bully. It's a lot of fun to watch him in action while he's doing his thing.   |

I have to admit, though, his "schtick" did get a rise out of me. Al Franken wanted to talk to Bill about marriage - let's just say he has an interesting perspective. Bill has never been married, but said that "I have never been in prison either. But I think I know that I don't want to go." We were discussing the nature of love, which he insisted had more to do with lust than anything else. I was trying to educate him about a more mature point of view. I tried to tell Bill that "You are programmed, deep inside your little head, you are programmed to be married. You will get married." I'm not sure it did any good though, and I have to confess I called him an adolescent at one point! Who knows, maybe I managed to make a toehold of an impression on him!
The point of the show IS to be "politically incorrect," though, isn't it? So I guess we were doing our job! Either way, I had a lot of fun and, if you watched it, I hope you did too.
