Now that I?ve finally digested the Thanksgiving feast I had with my family, I can look ahead to December and the many activities I have planned?

 Now that I?ve finally digested the Thanksgiving feast I had with my family, I can look ahead to December and the many activities I have planned?
First and foremost, of course, Spplat Attack is airing on pay per view on December 8 and will be available on DVD on December 10. I keep thinking of how much fun paintball is and this fact is certainly reflected in the film. As I?ve responded to Leopard Head?s questions on the board, paintball actually found me through the son of one of my friends, Donny Brookshire. His son, J.J. Brookshire, introduced me to the wonderful world of paintball, and I?ve never looked back. Now I?m a true devotee, aficionado, and acolyte of the game. I hope you get a chance to watch it ? and have as much fun with it as I did.
I?m going to be heading for New York at the end of the first week in December to do publicity for Spplatt Attack. Once I?m finished there, I head to Toronto to receive a Humanitarian Award. The following Monday, I go to London to do more publicity ? this time for a Star Trek exhibition that takes place in Hyde Park. I love London, so this is a trip I?m looking forward to making.
Even though it is not taking place in December, I thought it worth mentioning here that I?m going to be making another record! By an enormous coincidence, the Foos brothers (they once owned Rhino Records) approached me and asked if I?d be interested in recording another record. Then about an hour later, Ben Folds (in case you are not familiar with him, he?s kind of like a New Age Elton John) called me and asked me if I would perform on stage with him. So I realized that Fate had knocked at my door and I asked Ben if he would be interested in producing a record with me. He said yes, so we?re going into the studio together in the spring and will assemble the record together.
All in all it promises to be a busy end of the year. I want to take a moment to reflect on the enormous good fortune I?ve enjoyed this year and how grateful I am to everyone around me who has contributed to that good fortune. Of course, that includes all of YOU who frequent WilliamShatner.com. Thank you for your support and I am looking forward to sharing another wonderful year with you. In the meantime, have a safe and happy holiday season.
