It's a shame they feel the need to defend themselves against
a group of people that have no real evidence that I?ve seen.
I would prefer to see them spending money on new projects
of exploration.

| It would be funny of the government came out tommorow and said we realized that we could never get enough fuel to land on the moon. The computers werent powerfull enough so we decided to stage the whole thing. |

They had, a year ago on Fox, a program on this very subject. I watched the whole thing, over the course of an hour, and came away shaking my head.

The gentleman who pushes the Moon Shot Hoax argument has resided hereabouts in Nashville TN, also home to David Oakes the Reverse Speech trip the light fandango. I only say this because I live in their arch rival's town Memphis TN
I heard this gentleman's pitch on the Barbara Simpson show one weekend. He cites some alleged videotaped recovered from the NASA vault of a feigned spacecraft in orbit photo setup with the Apollo 11 crew.
The "Earth Rise" shot is my favorite riposte. I can't see why James Lovell et al would have to fabricate Apollo 13 to leaven public interest.
One thing for sure: When the Japanese (call Takei) send a Moon exploratory shot in the next few years, hopefully, this will be resolved once and for all ...(Shatneresque pause)... time.
Plus, our woebegone Klingon foes the Soviets would have been highly motivated to discredit an actual moon landing had it been hoaxed as in Capricorn One |
