Post subject: Leave it to me to find the first error

Hey Paul:
I was trying to upload an Avatar from my computer and this briefly flashed on my screen (before) disappearing:

I don't think the avatar is connected to my account because when I looked for it in my profile all I saw was the red X. Also, there are no avatars in the avatar gallery . . . Did I prehaps stumble upon a feature that isn't going to be used? |

It seems to be a very small picture you can use to represent yourself with--I had to try 12 to find one small enough to fit. There are sites that have them for free..but they are for something called VP and do not seem to work here but I am stil looking...my pictures are way to big --any one know how to reduce them? |

Jo, you need some photo editing software . . . Even the paint program that comes with Windows would work (though I perfer the Microsoft Photo Editor that comes with Microsoft Office for my basic editing). Tell me what you have and I can probably walk you through it. |
