Paul, this cracked me up. I imagine this BBS as your "job"--which means a boss, a cube, some fun co-workers plus one or two you'd gladly vaporize (a lot like my job). So when I saw this, I thought, "Gee, Paul, why don't you just go down the hall and ask him?"
"Hey, Bill, how was the Stones concert?"
"Paul, I'm on a conference call. And isn't your presentation due in 2 hours?"
"No, I rescheduled it. Didn't I email you?"
Paul scuttles his butt back to his cube and decides he can live without knowing what Bill thought of the Stones concert.
