I noticed the topic on Enterprise farther down the page by Captain Chase, and since there are so many different opinions, I thought maybe the best way to put all these thoughts together would be to do a small poll. What do you guys think? Vote on!
Steph

PS-I personally love Enterprise, but for those of you who don't, remember...the first seasons of TNG weren't all that great either. It takes some time for actors to get into their characters, and for the writers to figure out exactly where they're going with the show. TOS will never be outdone, but with each new generation of viewers, the style changes. Change for the better is good, but I don't think any of us has figured out how to change for the better without first going the wrong direction. Certainly, mistakes will be made, but those mistakes allow us to see which direction to go. As Gene Roddenberry once put it, "We must Boldy Go Where No Man Has Gone Before." I'm sure none of us wants to see Star Trek die. The only way to do that is to keep trying to re-create that first spark of magic that became Star Trek. I'm sure Gene Roddenberry would have it no other way... Wink

I voted Steph, and will do so again tomorrow.
So, everyone get out there and vote.
And even if you vote wrong, for those low-life Democrats or Republicans,
its your right. Take advantage of it Wink

I do remember, and it took me many years to come around to the 2nd greatest TV show in history. Smile

You have to be a master of disguise. I will go in as myself, then return as a blonde Klingon.
Works every time.

Well...just don't go in as a blonde Vulcan...I think they'd be suspicious. Laughing

Yes, I thought the 'Twilight Zone' was beckoning as well, so it was a real pleasure Steph! Very Happy Wink

Roxy:
I think The Twilight Zone is a great show! I've liked most of the shows they've had, with exception to one or two. It's great to have it coming on after Enterprise.

I find Enterprise unwatchable. I was taping the first episodes for a friend who didn't get it. I watched the first five and then had to give up. I still taped them but didn't bother watching. Mercifully, my friend who loves it finally started getting it so I didn't have to watch it anymore.

I can't stand the Vulcan woman in the tight jumpsuit. She is the number one reason I can't stand the show.

Roxy: Why thank you! I loved the Outer Limits as well, and I wish they would put more of them onto dvd so that I can watch them again.

Joyce: T'Pol does take some getting used to. To each his own, you know. It's great that you have an opinion about it! People that don't have opinions usually let the world choose for them, and they never get to have the opportunity to make a difference. I can't stand people that say one thing, and then as soon as you say the opposite, they change their opinion so that it's the same as yours. What would the world be like if everyone agreed with everyone else? It might be more peaceful, but dang would it be boring! Wink
