Diane,
I sure hope that these guys are the snipers. Part of me is rejoicing, but part of me has doubts.
Let's all keep prayers in our hearts, good thoughts in our minds and our fingers crossed.

| Hey, let's hope that the police or cops have got it right... and if they have, fantastic. However, I'd still advise people who live in Washington to be careful.[/quote] |

How long can they be held before they have to be charged, or released?

24 hours but the police here in Maryland are lax. They tried to arrest me one time without charging me or reading me my rights and I had someone call a lawyer. They dropped the act real quick.
We have people here sit in prison 8 months without getting charged. Than they get released or worse yet shooting suspects walk right out of Baltimore Detention center. |

Send them over to (The Shield) Mackey for interrogation.

Just kidding. It doesn't matter if they confess or not. They can always retract it later on advise of council.

| oh Dave, you are right but I never have liked the idea that the police can lie to you when you are being questioned. Maybe that is why I don't mind people changing their story later. |

What lie? I was only wanting to "encourage" them to tell what they know.

Define "rush". We are guaranteed a speedy trial. The slogan is one of the things that helped get OJ off. IMHO.
