got one person smaller the other day. Wednesday to be specific....

I've been sick since Tuesday, so I wasn't on my computer at all. Just found out this morning (about 5 mins ago) that a friend passed away Wednesday morning. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Ron Wilcoxen (aka Sahav) passed away. He was only 51. Had non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. They thought they had it under control--he was going through chemo. All of a sudden he got septic. The first hospital they took him to (because it was the closest) screwed around and didn't transfer him to the hospital he had been going to (about 10 miles away) for the chemo and such. He was transferred to their hospice facility (on the campus of the hospital itself) on the 28th of Nov. He passed away on the 30th........

He loved EVERYTHING Star Trek!! He and the Mrs have a bunch of toys and other memorabilia from TOS (in packages even!!). You couldn't have met a nicer guy. Loved all kinds of sci-fi, old movies, etc.

Godspeed Ron!!! He will be missed........

So sorry to hear of your loss.

Take care.

How funny you said that! His wife said he is probably having an in-depth conversation with Gene Roddenberry!! Knowing Ron, that's where he is!!

Thanks everyone! His obit was in the paper today. Ginna (his wife) wrote it. Very nice.

I'll be attending the memorial service on Dec 17th. He wanted to be cremated and a gathering of family and close friends afterward.

Such a crazy world we live in. Things like this make you stop and appreciate everyone in your life.....
