I've sent the photo to a Yeshiva friend of mine in Haifa. I'll let you know if we have more data for you.
Shalom. |

Spock1 sent Me this Today with all my Thanks!
OK, my Yeshiva friend of many years has replied. While I too thought to see some thoughts on the shirt, she did not see them and reports as follows:
Basically it is the Hebrew alphabet.
א
THE FIRST LETTER IS ERETZ ISRAEL
ח
IS HANUKIA AND ALSO M FOR MENORA
י
IS YERUSHALYIM
פ
IS FOR FLOWERS
צ
IS FOR TZADIKIM
THE LAST 4 LETTERS, I CAN NOT SEE THE WORD SHE USED, ONLY BECAUSE IT IS NOT SHARP.
As of now, I think that the alphabet is a symbol of Israel belongs to the Jews.
I am not clear.
So there you have it from a Sabra. It "feels right" as a souvenir shirt.

OK, Thank you. I figured that coming from Israel, the shirt would have an acceptable message on it. I just wanted to be sure. |

I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't wearing a Bible thumping shirt. I do not believe in Proselytizing. As for anything political, please take it to the other side. |
