I was going to blame Mother Nature for that.
Hmmm. Our weather forecast is in the 90's for the next three days then to cool it down it is forecasted for isolated thunderstorms on Friday. |

88' here with a heat index of 97' today and more coming tomorrow....storms are a brewing and that will cool us off a bit.
But your right it IS like a furnace outside.

Today was the first day where it wasn't like trying to breath warm/hot fog since late spring. It actually was rather comfortable outside- I could do stuff for more than 10 minutes or so without stopping to cool off. (It took about 45 minutes.) I enjoyed being outside for a little while- the first time in months.
I'm looking forward to the cooler and drier weather- especially to being able to turn off the A/C and having the windows open! |

It's going to be in the high 60's and low 70's the next two days here...... with some rain...... Good thing, though. We've a number of fires that need the cooler and damper weather. |

We're supposed to have a low of 68 degrees tonight, and last night was below 70. This is the first time since early May!!! YEAH!!!
Highs still in the low-to-mid 90's, but the air isn't heavy with humidity!!! |

I hate the humidity!! Now it's windy as hell here. I'm no where near the east coast, so it ain't Earl a knockin' on the door!!!
It's 62 right now. The wind is blowing hard enough that it's actually a bit chilly!!! That's different!!!! |

Literally might have to turn the furnace on tonight. Predicting upper 40's overnight. Today was great, lower 70's with 14% humidity. I was chilled riding this afternoon. Loved it.
You're right, my kind of weather too!
It's fall........
Perfect bike weather. My favorite time of year. |

Montreal had its hottest summer on record.
Very little rain as well.
But the heatwave has broken and we've had rain this weekend.
I was glad to see that all my garden inhabitants survived despite the fact that I did not water garden or grass this year.
That's reward for choosing drought tolerant plants
Hostas and flox abound! |
