I hate to say it - with this being a Canadian series 'n all - but I couldn't stand 'The Littlest Hobo' during its early 80's run ...the Kraft Velveeta commercials that sponsored it had more production value! [sorry Debb Wink ]

To me, it was soooo 'Canadian television' in all of the worst ways ...but not quite as bad as 'The Trouble with Tracy', which was also produced by CTV (for my American friends here, be thankful you were spared that particular experience in the early 70's).

Speaking of really bad Canadian (CTV) produced television series in the 70's and 80's, does anyone remember a little gem[not] called 'The Starlost'?

If not, don't waste the energy needed to Google it...

really...

don't...

...we're sorry that we let it be made and those responsible have been punished, honest.

Here's the theme from the original series that I love and remember.

In the sixties, we only had the choice of ABC, CBS, NBC and two or three local stations. I remember seeing "Skippy" from Australia but no Canadian shows.

"Sergeant Preston of the Yukon" was an American production that was shot in the mountains of California.

The star was the other Richard Simmons.
