who would you want to sit by?

I bring this up because it is something my friends and I discuss every year.

I would want to sit between Bill and Robin Williams. They could keep me entertained during the boring parts (dance numbers).

Oh, man! I love this!! So many choices...what a decision!! I'd love to sit next to Roman Polanski!

And Robert Blake, too! I wonder if O.J. went to the Oscars. I'd ask him how his golf game is coming along. I know he's searching for the real killers and he's gotten some really good leads on the 8th green, they say.

I don't think there's any boring parts of that really great show!

I know I'll think of some other really cool actors I'd like to meet!! Sean Penn! He'd be really cool to talk to!

Michael Moore!

Truly outstanding choices!

And were I to access Mr. Peabody's WABAC machine, I'd add:

Ed Wood, Roscoe Conkling "Fatty" Arbuckle and Maria Ouspenskaya:

I don't care who I'd sit by, but I'd want to be right up front. That way, if some of the celebs accidentally pooted during their speeches, I would hear it and could snicker quietly to myself.

I don't know about sitting next to someone at the Oscars, but I think it would be fun to be sitting next to Bill, at an airport, restaurant, etc and have someone ask him if he was WS. I could speak up and say, "Naw, that's my Uncle George, he gets that all the time, let's change the subject before it goes to his head." Laughing

Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin

We could argue about how many variations of the "f" word were used in "Glengarry Glen Ross" and discuss Steve's art collection. It would be even more fun if Miley Cyrus and Betty White were sitting behind us and told us to shut up.
