Hey man!! Getting all ready for the season! Got my fake moustache and I'll be watching Bobby Cox 2010.
Brewers have McGehee on 3rd and a chilly pitching staff with Ryan Braun and R. Wolf!!
Fire up the flamethrowers!! |

I'm just thrilled beyond thrilled that they brought back Doug Davis. I love that guy. Dependable, inning-eater.
They're going to be better than last year, to say the least.
Jim Edmonds hopefully has a little gas left in the tank too. |

This is Bobby's farewell year, and I believe Chipper's too.
I hope the team honors that with league title and a WS run....
Two words for you guys to remember...Jason Heyward |

From the blinkin' Seattle Times
Orioles manager tired of covering up for his team
Posted by Bob Condotta
...Trembley, with his team at 2-14 and looking like it's already out of it, is mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore.
Trembley was asked a question about former Mariner Adam Jones, who is being moved to the middle of the order and out of his normal lead off spot while hitting just .215 with one home run and two runs batted in.
Trembley, in his third full season with the O's and fourth overall, said that Jones appears to be trying to copy Rickey Henderson and his a bunch of home runs. He said he thinks Jones "thinks he's got to do that and he's chasing too many bad pitches.''
He then segued into saying that "it's time to stop this'' and that he's "tired of covering up'' for a team that he thinks is underperforming, that he feels at times like "a damn Presidential press secretary'' the way he is covering up for the team. That's about the time I finally got the tape recorder on.
"Instead of telling what it is, I've got to smooth it over,'' he said. "I ain't smoothing it over anymore....
In England, the Orioles are labeled as, "Yanks". To them, every team is Yanks. |

I noticed the first series between the Braves and Phils was in Atlanta this year. Bobby Cox is no dummy! After what happened in Philly last April, with the cold temps, the flamethrower, being engulfed in flames and ending up with a charred Braves jacket, Bobby wasn't going to let that happen again! Fool Bobby once, shame on Philly. Fool Bobby twice...that won't happen!!
Jamie Moyer is STILL pitching at age 47! Reminds me of the Perrys. |

| The Orioles won 4 games in a row for the first time this season! I think it was in 1988 when they started out 0-22. The radio announcers are always saying, "There's plenty of good seats available!". The worst team in baseball and they still get 22,000 to attend. |

I saw Martin Prado hit a triple last night in the bottom the the third! The Expos/Natties centerfielder made a boo-boo, but I don't think it was ruled as an error.
Yeah, Bobby Cox and Chipper. I'm glad Comcast gave me the ability to see more games this year...for 78 bucks a month. |

to the Braves.
I'll stick with the STL Cardinals!
Hey, didn't we sweep 4 games from the Braves earlier this year? |
