How sad.
We were watching an old sci-fi movie the other day, "Them." There were several actors in it, Fess Parker was one of them, along with a very young Leonard Nimoy, James Arness, and others.
Fess Parker will always be Davy Crocket and Daniel Boone for me.
He also did a special clip for the "Old Yeller" video that came out years ago. |

My cousins and I used to have coon skin caps and replicas of Old Betsy. Yep, I was a tom-boy.

| That was from the movie, "Them." If we hadn't been told up front that Leonard Nimoy was in it, we would have missed him. It was a rather small roll, and most of the shots were side shots. |

I will miss him as Daniel Boone and Davey Crocket....
MY two favorite shows as a kid....
