My older kids boarded the train this morning in their PJ's, armed with cell phones, a little cash, and the largest pillow they own. Thousands converging on Union Square in NYC to begin the battle at 3PM.
I almost envy them, sounds like fun.

Hey, There ya go. We could take away all the weapons of mass destruction and exchange them for pillows. Then let everyone have a pillow fight in the nude.
Why nude? Because its hard to fight when you naked and laughing. 
Look out Bin Laden! There's a pillow out there with your name on it.  |

Naw, we shoot Bin Laden first.
Then we celebrate the bastards passing with a naked pillow fight...

Dammit, I was trying to post the YouTube URL for the fight, but I can't figure out how to do it with Mary's computer. If your curious, just put International Pillow Fight Day NYC 2010 in the search at YouTube.
Mary and Bridget were right in the middle in front of the statue of George Washington. 2000 people fighting, they said it was like a giant soft mosh pit.
And after it was all over, (over an hour later) everyone signed their pillows and donated them for bedding for the local animal shelters across the city.
Pretty cool I think. |
