Post subject: Salesman Billy Mays has died at 50

Sales man Billy Mays has died of undisclosed cause in his home. His wife found him unresponsive this morning in their home and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the biggest pitchman for products on the TV mainly Mighty putty and oxyclean.
More details later as they come..
What is it with this rash of deaths at 50??

I guess the screaming sales pitch was too much for his blood pressure.
It has got to do with something in the environment and our Food/Water...

I noticed over the last year that his physical appearance had changed, he hod become more thinner and he had begun to wear his hair diffrent and grew a thicker beard...
They are asking for privacy for the family and his wife said her husband had been on a plane coming home yesterday that had blown out 3 tires on landing and some people suffered bumps and bruises but she didn't disclose if her husband had been hurt......Makes me wonder if he had a hidden head injury?????
My ex-husband had a head injury from a car accident we were in but the symptoms didn't show up till 2 weeks later and they were serious.....

I can't stand that sham wow guy...he is just mean and sneaky looking and I hate those commercials..That slap chop thing looks really chintzy and looks like it would breaka nd it's really small.....From people I know who have bought those things...they don't really work.
Now Billy Mays stuff 80% of his stuff DID work as they tried most of them on the air on the news I was watching ...

I've always hated yelling commercials. They turn me off to products.
Only a couple of the products seemed to have any value- and I've seen comparable things available through the stores. |

WOW, that's 3. It usually takes a few days, this was 3 in 2 days. Fate is speeding up things.
They just did a special on him and two other pitch men the other night too. |

One of the executives for the company I process calls for had recently met Billy Mays and some other pitch men at some sort of sales conference.
Personally, I never care for loud pitchmen. I think they would do better to have a woman pitching kitchen items anyways. (Yes, I am old fashioned in that way.) |

Ok the question I had asked earlier about Mr. Mays having a head injury from the flight's bumpy landing may have been confirmed. His wife Mary just reported that her husband had told her last night that he wasent feeling well before going to bed and had hit his head HARD during the plane's bumpy landing Saturday as he was coming home...!!! Wasent there an actress ealier this year that had hit her head and she died of a concussion and a bleeding inthe brain...Her name escapes me but I can see her face in front of me....
I bet it was a bleed in he brain from getting hit and he should of been checked out!!!

I just saw some footage of Mr. Mays on the TV, talking to reporters after his flight had kind of crash landed, and he was talking about how he and other passengers were hit on the head and upper body by flying luggage as it flew out of the compartments...
also that night he had just had a 7 minute interview before going to bed...with a representative to be a spokes person for Taco Bell...the representaive said Mays sounded groggy and said he just didn't sound well at all...Mays went to bed a few inutes after that and he died in his sleep and didn't wake up....
That is tragic and sad.......

Richardson died in 2009 following a head injury sustained when she fell during a skiing lesson in Quebec.
That's quite different. More in line with Sonny Bono. |

I wasent saying that it was exactly like her accident....I am just saying that he was had sustained a head injury whether it was caused by a fall or being hit or what ever...it still can cause a bleed in the brain which can be fatal immediatly or can show up a few hours later or even a day later. We have had many head injuries in my family that have been fatal or have caused brain damage and at the least a headache and slight trauma...I am just making a point, how ever you get hit in the head, you should be checked out immediatly and make sure you don't have a bleed or a bruise in the brain...time is vital.. and waiting can bring on worse symptoms and brain damage.....It was probably the worst thing for Mr. Mays to do was go to sleep...that ususally brings on a coma and if it's worse enough death....
when my family members were injured we had to wake them up every 2 hours to make sure they would wake up...if they were groggy or legarthic it was an immediate trip to the hospital...period. Even my fuzzle Smokie had to be kept awake after her accident with some poison...she wasent hit in the head...but if she had fallen asleep the brain would of gone into a coma and she would of died so I had to keep her awake for 14 hours...

I have nothing against Billy Mays. It's not like he molested kids or anything.
