My school was inspected this week! A team of six inspectors were all over us like a rash, but I managed to escape having a lesson observed. I know I should be grateful, but it took me so long to prepare all this fantastically vibrant, fun-filled lessons that I feel a little cheated!
The important thing is thought, that the school came out well and this will go online, so prospective parents can read it. Our pastoral care is "outstanding" and the quality of teaching and learning uniformly good or very good.
Now it's downhill til Christmas! |

| Well, I observed him a couple more times and told him exactly what to do and he listened!! He must have done OK as all the lessons observed were classed as good. He's been really trying this term, which is possibly because he wants a good reference, but it's still better to work with! If he carries on, I might even miss him! |

How about the large part in some production you had to learn, how'd that go? Or is it still going?
Glad to hear that everything at school turned out OK. |

I tell you, it's made me in awe of actors, especially those ones in rep theatre, where they're performing one play and rehearsing another!! It's really tough learning lines! The ones I have are hard because they're all in Victorian language and don't seem to advance the story much. Still, it's on Sat 13th, so I haven't got that much longer...the good thing that there is a fair amount of alcohol imbibed, so nobody minds if lines are fluffed, in fact a sizeable proportion of the audience would be disappointed if they weren't! |

Sounds like fun.
Any way you could get someone to video it so we could have a peek? |
