1975 - August. Golden Lake, Val David, Quebec (about 50 miles north of Montreal in the heart of the Laurentian mountains.
10:00 p.m.
Walking home alone from the Golden Lake Country Club's (a lofty name for a community centre built on stilts) Friday night dance. (Music by jukebox)
The lightposts around the lake are far and few between and it's scary so I used to run from light post to light post.
You know that time of night when the sky is clear, the stars are out and the water on the lake is mirror still. There was a sudden stillness in air. I look over to the Condor mountain range to King's peak and I see a light.
Thought it might have been "the guys" camping up there.
Suddenly the light took off like a shooting star... but falling up... away from Earth instead of towards Earth.
I don't know.. but I had this really funny feeling come over me that froze me in my tracks... and then I ran all the way home. I was 14 and never so petrified in my life! |

I did once about 25 years ago. I was still living in south Jersey, and I had an awesome pickup truck at the time. I was dating a girl that lived out in the country, and I had just dropped her off. It was really late, and on the ride home, I had to drive on roads that had cornfields on either side that stretched for miles. It was late in the fall, so the stalkes were all cut down, flat and dark on either side of the road.
I was driving pretty fast when I noticed out the passenger window that there was something over the cornfield moving at the same height and speed as my truck. I can't say exactly that it was illuminated, but I could plainly see a streak of something. I slowed down, it slowed down, sped up, it did too. Now this went on for acres and acres. (Back then Jersey wasn't so developed).
As I got towards the end of the fields, the damned thing took off, at an angle first, and then straight up and was gone. To this day I have no idea how, what or why. |

My story is similar to Gorn's experience. There I was, just a-walkin' down the street, singin' "do-wa-diddy, diddy-dum-diddy do" when this UFO barged in. I mean, everyone has their personal space you're not supposed to violate, but here's this STUPID U.F.O., being totally inconsiderate and belligerent.
Well, I wasn't gonna stand for that, so I backed up a step and put my dukes up. Hey, I'm not gonna let these a-hole aliens mess-up my plans!
Long story made short, these little jerks come out of their fancy flying saucer and start to give me some 'tude. I remember taking a swing at this one lob-sided head alien dude. Then, I remember another passerby (humanoid) got out a knife and started flailing. I remember something hit me square in the jaw and the next thing I can remember is getting up from the ground while the space ship took off into the sky. I shook my fist at the alien craft as it was leaving and shouted, "Douchebags!".
Aliens are like my pet peeve. Aliens and ghosts. For some reason, we just don't get along. |

well, see, they didn't like what you were singing. Doo wop songs are offensive to aliens because doo wop is a derogatory term to aliens. One should always be careful when singing out loud. Aliens have very good reception... especially the ones with antennae.

| It was the summer of 87 and I was stationed at Minot Air Force Base, just outside of Minot, North Dakota. I was working security in a a close by area and there was a object that came over the B-52 Bomber Alert Area and just hovored. Since we were the security, we contacted our control, and they didn't know anything. They contacted Base Ops. Nobody knew what was going on. This was a high security area that contained planes on alert ready for nuclear war, so this was very scary for us. |

Welcome to the board Kazombie.
Your experience is one shared by many. It seems there's a lot of alien interest in military bases.

Friday morning, 8:56 a.m. Debb checks the frontpage for the Shatner Project. No sign of Paul anywhere in cyberspace and the promised video is no where to be seen.
Have aliens abducted Paul to keep the Shatner UFO story from being revealed?
Should we begin wearing tinfoil helmets?
Everybody check to see if their cats, dogs, and cows are safe.
