I stated this thread with..."I hope you won't be gone too long"
and it has morphed into
something different
To hell with that
Come back soon Cat |

There is no way you can call me ugly when you post something like this
When I came back, I asked for a show of hands, it was like 18 to 4
This is just ugliness on your part |

No. Reread your posts today, and ask who is being ugly. Reread. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

Well, you know... the whole election raised people's emotions.
I'm just wondering, if Gornman could have sent Cat his well wishes in a PM, this whole thread could have been avoided.
But since the private messages are disabled, then I guess we can all ....
BLAME PAUL!
I SAY WE ALL BLAME PAUL... THAT'S RIGHT... IT'S PAUL'S FAULT.. NOT CANADA'S BUT PAUL'S...
BRING BACK PM'S (all together now) BRING BACK PM'S! BRING BACK PM'S... (Debb raises placard up and down) BRING BACK PM'S.
(Debb distributes placards to the the forum members with the words "PAUL'S FAULT".
(I'm Debb and I approve this message)
(this message paid for by the people for private messages plan)
(not responsible for arrests or bans as a result. Notify your shrink if you experience any of the following symptoms... inability to take a joke, sudden tongue in cheek syndrome and/or feelings of mirth, hysteria and inability to LOL, or rolling of eyes.) |

What is really sad about this whole thread is that it could have been a thread of positive get well messages to Cat, but instead turned into a mud wrestling contest between two full grown men.
Now, I am going to start a fresh thread for Cat and I am asking that only positive messages be put there.
Do you think we can come together to do that?
And, if you would like, we can open a special "Mud wrestling" thread just for Gorny and Harry. |

Oh my..........
Okay, I had a really good laugh at the pregnant question, David. At nearly 50, I think the shock would probably do me in.......
As far as the rest of this goes, I am taking a break partly for my health. I have had health issues for a long time, and it just seems to be getting worse. It just seems to take so much of "me" any more, just to help run the business, and still actually talk to my family. Just not enough of the old gal to go around.....
And very sadly, my son is really having a hard time of it health wise as well. He will be starting more college classes soon, and I truly appreciate the prayers for his well being.
As far as my fight with Harry goes, he knows he pisses me off, and I piss him off. That's because I'm always right, and he's always wrong, but he just has trouble admitting it. I should not have used the language I did, I know better, and I apologize for saying the naughty words. But, Harry, if you call me stupid one more time I will have to break my foot off in your behind. And the arrogance is getting a bit hard to deal with. It's one thing to support a candidate, but it's not right to insult us when we don't agree.
And as far as it goes, I know I was really horrid when David left. I said some very nasty things that I am not very proud of. Everyone who truly does know me, knows that I would gladly give my life for my friends, but I can have way too short a fuse, and be the most royal of bitches when I do. But, I don't hold grudges, and I am not mad at anyone.
As far as Obama's win...... *sigh* I'm going to agree with Nader here. The dems have been unhappy, oh, let's say it, complaining, for 8 years. Now with them having the presidency, and the majority in the house and senate, when things are REALLY screwed up, they will have no one left to blame. And I will laugh. Long and hard. Really, really long and hard....
And, because I'm so sweet (cough, cough), I won't even mention the fact that the stock market crashed after the news of Obama got out, or the fact that he has already said that what he "promised" won't get done in one year, or even one term, ie, it "ain't gonna happen". And of course it would be downright rude of me to say I told you so.
Again, I really appreciate every ones concern, and hope everyone understands that I just need some time off. |

Hey Cat...
Is good to read what's been going on with you. I just flew in to see what the "Cat" dragged in... meh! :p
To my surprise lots of draggn going on. Not my cuppa, I'd ruther grab a huge cup of Jasmine tea and continue on my preps for what's coming in my life.. or a nap.
Sorry to know you are feeling yucky as well as your son. Good health I take for granted and when anything messes with it, it really throws me into bitchy mode.
Lots of hugs and thoughts towards you.

not to stray too far into the fray here... but life in Canada under the Liberal Government was a lot easier... and nicer.
Ever since we've had Harper and his Conservative party... well, the $12M surplus the Liberal Government had left behind, is about to turn into a deficit.
Life is harder under the Conservative Government. For myself, for my neighbours. We're all hurting.
The point being, a Conservative Government is never for the people. |
