| Just watched Obama's and McCain's on youtube and so deeply moved by both of them. McCain was gracious, magnanimous and eloquent in defeat. he can leave the stage with pride. |

Now....was that so hard to say nice things about McCain?

At least I'm happy someone is elected, even if I didn't vote for them. |

I think it's best when one can learn to control the 'slip' of the tongue (I'm still working on it).  |

As I said somewhere else...she did approach the MIC...and I was so PROUD of Sen. McCain...that he took her hand and lead her AWAY...

finally I had a chance to review McCain's entire speech on youtube and I thought it was his best performance to date.
Can't say whether it would have made a difference had he been so gracious and eloquent throughout the campaign but it was definitely a high note for him.
didn't see him leading Palin away from the mic .. the youtube video ends on his last word but I'll take you at your word.
I would love to see that moment but that would be Schedenfreude. |

What a narrow escape the world had...turned out the public never got to see the true depths of Palin's ignorance. She thought Africa was one country...!!
