What is that? a cicada? pretty wings... Is it shedding its skin.
pretty weird but how does that relate to Takei's wedding and lack of wedding etiquette.

George got a little carried away, when he was asked to cut the wedding cake.

Firstly, I never liked that pic of Sulu.
Some of you know that my eldest daughter is a figureskater. She's 19 now but when she was 10, she was in fencing. Even as a 10 year old, she could tell you that Sulu is displaying very poor technique.
Firstly, he is not leaning forward with full arm extension and secondly, his left arm is not in position as well. (for starters)
Here is a correct stance:

Sorry but technique is individual.
I took fencing in college and George displays form in line with what I was taught by a former member of the US Fencing team. |

and you should know that. (I suspect that you do but your defense of Takei is duly noted. I understand he's an actor not an athlete.)

Hell, George had his first fencing lesson the day before, so you have to allow for some awkwardness. |

Of course. But I still wince at that photo. And there are way better pics of Sulu than that but that one seems to play.

So there are some resentments towards Bill from other people, including the cast of Star Trek: TOS. Based on what I have read, especially the autobiography of Bill Shatner, the following could be one main reason. He has stepped on other peoples' toe without intended to. Everybody does that sometimes. For example in the book, Bill said he has written a story outline after the movie Star Trek VII, trying to bring Kirk back to life. This is the kind of very bad thing to the Star Trek world. It is especially true after the Star Trek movie II & III, in which Mr. Spock is killed, and then got double-talk back to life. Although Bill's movie idea was only realized in the form of a book at last, the two movie ideas are very similar. As the critics on Star Trek III said, it is a cheat to the audience. I would say it is also playing with the emotion of the audience too. There might be millions of dollars in movie revenue to be made out of such movie project. At the end, those who really love the show needs to answer to the question - what will it take to make you do such terrible thing? My answer is the name of a James Bond movie released a few years ago - The World Is Not Enough.
Sigh

| Both men are terrific. I think they should just apologize to each other and move on. |
