Ms. Abercrombie?
Who, or *what* is Ms. Abercrombie? |

My 8th grade homeroom teacher. I always use her name
when I can't think of the old lady's name in the movie "10"
who was carrying the drink tray.
That dog was smart and got the hell outta dodge when she
ripped one...lol

So, I had to jump in on this one!!! I just bought my 2 doggies fleece "jackets" for the winter. It's not even that cool out, and I can tell Rocky is going to be one of those dogs that just shivers!!! Mollie stayed outside with me last winter until she was shaking. I had to physically put her in the house while I finished up clearing off the driveway!!!
Sammi had a jacket too. As she got older, she would start shivering outside. Once I put her jacket on, she stopped shivering and started running through the snow again!!!
I draw the line at Halloween costumes though!!!! These two would never put up with that!!!
For me, it's a matter of keeping them protected from the fierce winds that pass through my neighborhood. Living a half a block from Lake Erie is nice in the summer (it's actually cooler in my part of town), but hell in the winter!!! All of the streets that dead-end into the lake (like mine) become wind tunnels. That wind comes straight off the lake and is damn cold!!! That's why my dogs now have jackets.....
Take it or leave it, I didn't spend that much on them, and if it helps protect them while they're out playing....then so much the better I say!!! |

I don't know why people think that some people treat their dogs like kids...... |

some people treat their pets like kids. some people think treat their pets like royalty...
some people treat their pets cruelly.
In my book, I'd rather see them indulged, than abused.
Me, I treat my Eddie (a Jack Russell terrier of course) like a buddy.
He's my companion and cuddle bunny and rascally loveable fellow. |
