Why is this series ending? I adore it, it's funny and compassionate, can't believe it's ending. It certainly hasn't J'd the S!

Actually, it almost ended last season. It seems that there was a matter of money involved and other behind the scenes of the business end of show biz.

Personally, I would like to see it continue. Boston Legal has one of the best casts of any of the other shows that I have seen lately. There is such a blend of experience levels and yet everyone seems to be "living in the skin of their characters." Even the young actors seem to be on top of their craft.

If the show does end, I surely hope that it is not the last the we will see of the cast members. James Spader is a fine actor and could easily lead another show. I would love to see the other cast members in other roles in the future. The ability to create different characters is what acting is all about. I would hope that no one in the cast falls victim to typecasting.

Maybe they wanted to go out on a high while the show was still good. Too many popular shows have run on far past their time, and got stale, or just started to repeat storylines.
