Event Threads..
I've seen them done on other, much busier Boards,
but it might work here.
Take the VP debate. I'm going to post a thread approx 30min
before the event Thursday night.
If we can get enough folks watching and posting at the same
time it might work.
Besides, I know who I'm voting for already, and most people vote the top
of the ticket, so it should be flame free and fun.
I only know one way to find out and that's try and see.
What do you think, can you make it? |

Every time Palin says "Alaska", take a snort
Every time Biden says "Bush", another snort..
86 that, bad idea, I have to work Friday and Saturday...

I may watch it. I don't usually comment on it, but if I am here, I may throw in a few remarks.
No drinking game for me. Only been drunk once in my life. That was quite enough, thank you very much.  The great porcelen goddess has seen the last of me, plus, I don't like spinning rooms. 
Throw in a pizza and a good beer though, and I'm on. |

I knew that, I was just extending the idea.
I would say a drink every time Palin talks gibberish, but judging by her Couric interviews, that would be a recipe for total inebriation! |

That's why I picked the VP debate, it means very little.
And make no mistake, Biden is just as capable of a gaffe
as Palin.
