Post subject: I Won An Honorable Mention Award At The 2008 IPA!

I just found out that I won an Honorable Mention Certificate at the 2008 International Photography Awards for my work 'People Of Asia'. Of course, I didn't get the top prize, but it is fantastic to have my work recognised and appreciated out of 22,000 submissions.

Unrelated, I also found out that I have been published in a US photography magazine today. http://www.iheartmagazine.com/ I like the "Over 25,000 submissions, but only 88 mind-blowing photos made the cut."

| Cheers! Unfortunately no money, as I didn't get the top awards, but I am so chuffed to have this to add to my resume. It is great to get some small recognition from respected photographers. |

I do, on occasion visit your website. I think I first visited when I first joined this forum.
You mentioned not knowing that you had been published. How did you find out? You are paid for it aren't you?

With the work you do Harry, it doesn't surprise me at all.
Honestly, your pictures are better than any I've seen, including all the ones I saw while working at Newsweek.
