Post subject: ACtor Paul Newman has died

It just came acrost the wire that actor Paul Newman died yesterday after a long battle with cancer yesterday at the age of 83.
More info is to come later inthe day.

My favorite movie that he did...
Cool Hand Luke... 
I also thought he was a daredevil driving those race cars...from the reports on him he was driving one around a track ealier this year at 110 mph....
He was married for a long time to actress JoAnne Woodward....When people asked him how his marriage lasted so long in the volitile life of Hollywood, he said "I have steak at home, why should I go after a hamburger some where else?"

Hollywood legend Paul Newman has died at the age of 83, his spokeswoman has confirmed.
Marni Tomljanovic said the blue-eyed star of films like Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid died on Friday of cancer. She gave no further details.
Newman was nominated for an Oscar 10 times, winning a best actor trophy in 1987 for The Color Of Money.In May 2007, he said he was giving up acting because he could no longer perform to the best of his ability.
"I'm not able to work anymore... at the level that I would want to," he told US broadcaster ABC.Earlier this year, he pulled out of directing a stage production of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men in Connecticut because of unspecified health problems.

There's a few small group of true acting legends, and we just lost one of them.
Am glad he isn't suffering. |

How sad. I heard about his death this morning.
There'll never be anyone cooler than Newman. I feel for his wife, but I'm glad he's not suffering anymore.

I didn't know and was at Safeway...when I picked up a Bag of Newmans Own Cat Food ...and this weird feeling came over me...again...and I just said "somethings wrong"......came home to find out the News....
