I'm sitting here watching the debate while switching back
and forth to the Braves game.
I've seen that debate and that game before,
down to the hits, outs and camera angles...
Right down to the commentators talking about the train
in left-field in Houston
It's eerie
It maybe be possible there may be a temporal flux at hand
I'm serious
anyone else |

They are taking a vote on text messaging and seeing who won the debate:
McCain has 82%
Obama has 16%
Undecided 1%
This is going to be interesting for the VEEPs next week on who's going to win that one..

Uh, whose poll is that? As much as I like Obama, there is no way in a fair poll that he would score that low. The poll you are citing is clearly a Republican biased piece of baloney. I recommend that you throw out a wider net and see more unbiased analyses.
A CBS poll of 500 uncommitted voters who watched found this: 40% said Obama won, 38% said it was a draw, and 22% called McCain the winner. CNN had Obama winning 51-38% overall, winning on the economy 58-37%, and even winning on Iraq 52-47%.
As for the VP debate... I can't wait to see Palin drown. |

| Politics is life. Politics affects absolutely all of us, your politics affects everyone in the world, that's why we have the right to be interested in it. |

Palin is a prime example of "White Privilege." If her family had been of a different race, things would have been very different on how her and her family's behavior were portrayed to the public.
This isn't just a blatant remark on my part. My statement comes from years of studying racial stigmas and prejudices. There are many books and articles written about the subject by some of the leading social scientists. |

This was an unbiased text message poll that is neither Republican or Democrat, Harry. People sent in thier votes by text message and the results were tallied all night, and the tally this morning was
McCain 84%
Obama 16%
Undecided 1 %
I will not say where i saw it as i can see the venom already on people lips and fingers ready to spew at me for what I may write. Any thing I write on here politically is met by bad manners and nasty retorts, and i feel like your views are being shoved in my face and if i don't agree with you i get pounded.. You have your opinion and i have mine. If you have so much hatred for President Bush then wait 3 months and he will be gone...Then you'll have some one else to criticise and whine about if they don't fit your mold.
There are many polls that are on the tv right now and they will skew them to thier own advantages. All I can say is who ever God wants to be in the White House will be in there on Jan 20th, 2009.

Along with what Sue posted (which is right on target, by the way), I would say that a Constitutional Law Scholar (Obama) is far more qualified to run the US than any businessman, especially since he's been (1) a community organizer, (2) a state senator, and (3) a US congressman.
One question we've often wanted to ask the schools that teach business is how they can talk about ethics... maybe they teach "How to screw people and get away with it."
What people don't realize is that the last 4 presidents (including this one) are not conservatives or liberals, they are NEOLIBERALS. If you go to any other country and ask about that ideology, you'd learn that it is hated by the average citizen pretty much around the world- because it concentrates wealth in the hands of the few while hurting the rest. It's based upon the idea "Free Markets Fix Everything!", but this idea has been demonstrated (proved in lay terms) to only make the rich richer and the rest poorer. |

I just realized that I may have gotten off the main topic. If so, I apologize. I saw Palin's name and reacted. |
