Post subject: TS Kyle hitting the NE coast..:(

The storm will be hitting the NE coast this weekend with about 5 - 6 inches of rain there and I hope every out out east will be able to keep their basements dry and safe...at least it's not a hurricane but a TS is bad enough..

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.....
Not really, it's crappy out here. Been raining and cold since late yesterday afternoon, and not suppose to let up until sometime on Sunday. Can't ride in this either, cause the winds are so strong.
No flooding in the cellar as of yet, so I'm keeping fingers crossed.
Diana, I'm going to bowling tonight, but if you're on IM late, about 9PM your time, I'll be here. |

Yep, I'll be here as I'm running on fumes in the car and need to go to the pet shop to do some small jobs and get some extra cash tomorrow for some gas!
i have heard on the Weather Channel about half an hour ago that there is a possibility of Kyle turning into a small hurricane by Sunday morning...I hope not but if it does stay safe and stay indoors...I don't want to hear about getting hit in the head by flying debris...

Update on Kyle....
the storm is very close to being upgraded to a catagory one hurricane inthe next 24 hours.
Winds are up to nearly 65 mph and if it hits 70 mph sustained winds it weill go to cat. one.
Evry one onthe east coast hold on to your hats....and lawn chairs....and garbage cans.....

Now Kyle IS a hurricane and there are warnings all over the East coast...You and MAry going to be ok out there Steve??
