| I would have thought it wold be the right who would question whether Palin could actually raise five children, including one with special needs and potentially be the President of the US. If she can do both successfully, kudos to her, but in my experience, something's got to give....and yes, I am aware that people wouldn't ask a man that question..... |

There's nothing wrong with hunting. Especially if it's to control animal populations that are too big to be supported by nature. BOTH prey and predator animals sometimes get out of control and the latter have been known to attack and kill human beings for food. Especially children as they're easier prey the adults. We've had more then one occasion in California where mountain lions have killed and eaten hikers because there wasn't enough deer or other prey animals to support them.
Palin is a good, decent woman with MORE experience then either Obama or Hillary. People should stop bashing her.
Besides which, frankly, I'll be honest, since he has a Muslim father, I'm not confident that Obama will support Israel and it's important that America helps keep the Promised Land in the hands of the people it was actually promised by God to.
So even though I think extremism in EITHER direction is bad for the country, I'm voting McCain. And anyone who doesn't like that can, as a great fictional woman once said, "Kiss my grits." |

Polly Holliday played Florence Jean Castleberry of the 70's tv show Alice. One of my favorite tv characters. Lots of spunky attitude. |

Take time to READ | Yes, but why should the physical safety of human beings, especially children, EVEN BE GAMBLED WITH?......that is unless one is willing to assign the same moral value to the lives of animals as human beings? Do you so wish to do????? |

Morgram, I side with LS on this one. There are no reported deaths of humans from wolves. I've been within 30 feet of wolves, as well as being close to coyote, bobcats, bears, and we had a cougar that use to roam in front of our house when we lived in Woodland. I've never had any animal bother me, although I can't say the same for people......
This is JMO, but I think of the Earth as being leased to us from God. He put upon it gardens, and a wonderous zoo. Some day he is going to come back, and the fact that we've driven most of his zoo into extinction, or near extinction, and pretty much trashed the place, is not going to bode well for us. God took the time to individually create each creature on this planet, and they deserve our respect. God made us caretakers of this planet, and that means caring for his creations, not destroying them. Again, JMO. |

| It is getting very cramped in this country in terms of living space and it is not a good idea to have high levels of human populations adjacent to sizable populations of dangerous predatory wildlife like coyotes, wolves or bears. If it is not feasible to relocate a sizable animal population then a controlled reduction measure such as a hunt should be allowed......not for the sake of sport but to eliminate any likely possibility of animal attacks on people. |

| That's not why Palin sanctioned those airborne hunts. It was for "sport" pure and simple. |

Actually, I agree with this, which is why I support the hunting down of your neighbors both for sport and profit....... |
