And what an weird win! Cole Hamels will be credited as the winning pitcher and he didn't even play last night!
Keeping with tradition, the Philly fans booed Bud Selig when he stepped to the mic, then they booed the Rays when they were mentioned. You could see people cringe on the television camera when that happened.
I thought it would be a good game for people who aren't familiar with or very interested in baseball. It was relatively short, there was a slide at home, homeruns, base stealing, bunts, people running in the outfield and missing pop ups, and about 42 degree weather. |

It's a crazy game when you look at how Game 5 began on Oct. 27th and ended on Oct. 29th. Totally nuts, with a 45-year-old pitcher in the mix and a mayor announcing a parade...Mayor Nutter! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
The reason for such a long delay? God is a Penn State fan and they played a big game on Saturday. If God isn't a Penn State fan, then why is the sky blue and white? |

At least we in Milwaukee can say that the team that eliminated us went on to be the World Champs.
Brewers named Ken Macha as their manager....cautiously optimistic about that move. |
