1.Hannahs blood tests came back...she is still anemic but not badly.Whew!

2.My payment was late to defferre my payment for my car and now I owe 2 payments this month and that will put mer in a serious hole. Evil or Very Mad I misunderstood about mailing it and it took longer to get there and missed the deadline..... aaagggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!

3. I was going to wear a Civil War Dress to the Lincoln -Douglas debate re enactments today but it is now 73 degrees @ 6:41am here with high humidity.75% humidity, and a dew point of 71 %...ewwwwww...I dont think I will do that now as I am not going to be roasting in the dress.... I will finish it tho and can wear it to other Civil war events....

4. I did get my car fixed at a very low price yesterday Very Happy

5. Got some more work done yesterday on my Star WArs Sand Trooper armor Very Happy .

So far today I am awake and going to take my pill and eat breakfast...I can see we have some thick fog moving in.... Shocked REALLY thick fog! it's a pea souper coming up here!

Afternoon All!

We just got home from vacation, and damn it's good to be home!
Unpacking the suitcases, and the dogs are going nuts. It's been a long day in the car, but in a few minutes I'm getting on my motorbike and taking a long ride. Alone!
I love my kids but an entire week with them is enough.
I need a break. Going back to work on Wednesday, and looking forward to being an adult once again.... Very Happy

What's the latest around here?

Glad to see you and the kids back home safe and sound, Steve.

As much as we love our kids, it's always good to get some time to ourselves. Wink

Diana, I'm glad to hear that Hannah's hemolgobin hasn't dropped. I just pray that the bleeding problem has been resolved to the point that she has the time to build her ferritin and hemocrit levels back up.

How's everyone doing today?
It's overcast here in Jersey, with rain on the way, so I think I'm going hang in. I hate riding in the rain, and I don't really have anywhere to go anyway.
The laundry's going, the dishes are going, and just finished filling out all the paperwork for my new job.
Now, not sure what I'm going to do.
Sort of boring here today.

Very Happy

I survived the drive!!!!!!

We only got lost once on the way back from the Dr but I made it!!!!! a nice car sales man told us how to get back tothe main I-80 highway to get back home....TG for McDonalds too as we needed food as we were at the Dr for 4 hours!!

We got the tests back and we found out that Hannah has the same neuropathy I and Samantha do- CMT. I found out that it can also cause bruising and also HEAVY BLEEDING!!!That explains a lot and we are getting more and more pieces of the puzzle together which is going on with me and my family...this is not curable but it is treatable and they have a better chance now of having therapy to keep thier muscles from atrophying and losing more strength.

Thank God for Doctors that take the time to run every test and who do extensive exams!!

So glad to hear that you are getting some answers Diana. About time.

The job is great, feels good to be of some use again, like going home. First lecture yesterday, I had the usual butterflies, but it came back like riding a bike.

You going to be in IM later? I'm working on a paper at the moment, but should be through in about 1/2 an hour.

Glad to hear you are finally getting some good news.

I've been on vacation for three weeks. Two were planned for my mom to come up (financial issues, so they couldn't) the third was impromptu as I forgot my son has that week off of daycare.

Hubby started working again, so this month has been tight for $$. We had to pay nearly all the bills on my check (which won't cover them all) and then get him to work and back daily (about 50mi).

This week with my son home I've been cleaning and he's been helping me. He's doing great too! Dishes, laundry, helped me clean the entire bathroom! We've been getting some good quality time together.

I've lost a bit of weight, and am back working out at the gym, except this week b/c I have no money. I get paid tonight so that should be good.

I'm going to start learning electric guitar soon. And then I'm going to go into photography.

Hubby and I are escaping for an evening to celebrate our anniversary. I've got a gorgeous red sparkly "dress" (top & bottom, looks like a dress) to dazzle him with! Wink

Hunting season starts monday! I need to get my bow fine tuned so I can get the ranges in properly. Still missing too much, and I can't seem to use the back peep sight properly.

Hubby's new hoped for job may not pan out as the company may decide to hold off hiring until after elections or just in general. This means we can't buy a house. I found one we might be able to rent, but we have to hold off for a bit yet to see what happens with the job and our income. It's very very frustrating. We may have to wait until our son is in school before we can buy or rent a house. Which means we won't be having any more kids. Sad Kinda stressful right now.

School and therefore work starts back on Monday so I went into school yesterday to get some books and check a few things. I'm really dreading going back this year as my exam results were dreadful. I know I had the bottom set and I warned them, their parents and the school that if they didn't work harder they wouldn't pass the exam but when only 3 out of 8 actually pass you still feel responsible Sad

You're not responsible for what the parents "allow" their children to choose with their academics, GC. Alot of parents don't have a firm grip on their children nor their education. I'd always been one of those people who admired set schedules, but I was basically a lazy person. A butterfly floating free and it pretty much got passed onto my kids. Since I'm working full time at the school with special needs children, the structure that they need, the stability, is inadvertantly being passed onto me and thus to my daughter. I wish I could have gotten into this field a long time ago so it would benefit my son. There's so much challenge, bravery, and pure gumption in these beautiful children and I admire my teacher very much for her firm stance in dealing with them and their disabilities. She understands that they have special needs but they must never be coddled. This year is going to be the best year in all the years I've ever been in the school system, whether with volunteer work, or some of the other duties. I was hesitant at first, but I'm so happy to have signed up for the class. Cool Cool
