Great pictures. It always takes me by surprise when I see pictures of modern Japan. It's very rare when I do. I'm still for some reason stuck in the mode of thinking that all the ladies dress in clothes of the '60s or dressed in kimonos. I watched a lot of Godzilla movies when I was a kid. Seeing these young people with their cell phones, wild clothes, etc. and then finally seeing a lady in a kimono is really surreal. I often wonder if the modern world has about obliterated the old and traditional. I hope not. |

Wow, really some amazing shots. Thanks for sharing them.
I really was fascinated by the hat in "Tokyo Eccentricity". I have to wonder what that represents. |

Very nice photos of Japan, and the memories they brought back to me are good.
Many of the sites you photographed, I visited 20yrs ago and they haven't changed too much at all.
Stay well, safe and supplied with camera and your artistic gifts. |
