Relations in the dog and cat communities are tenuous at best. Who started it the experts cannot say. It could possibly be that the cats took exception to being used as chew toys.
There was immediate and fierce retaliation from the cat community.
Some in the dog community thought that the cats had gone too far. But really, who wants to be slobbered all over and be some dog's chew toy? Eeew!
Tentative steps toward peace talks. A truce is made where a dog diplomat can reside with the cat community until differences can be resolved.
Finally, it was realized that the difference in dog and cats was only skin deep and that all are one in this big old world. Hopefully, humans will come to this realization about themselves some day, too. |
