You try and try to get TV Land to show Steve McQueen movies and they won't do it! I had to watch TCM last night. I saw Love with the Proper Stranger. You know, Natalie Wood was a good-looking girl!

On Saturday, TCM will be showing The Postman Always Rings Twice. In this movie, you'll get to see John Garfield bitch-slap Fred Flintstone until Fred is all bloody in the face. Set your DVR!

I think bitch slapping ol' Fred is this lady's job. And her mother's, and his boss's, and Barny's, and his whole bowling team's, and his pet Dino's, and...heck all of Bedrock's! It'd be like in the movie Airplane where everyone was lining up to slap the hysterical woman!

Wilma never took any crap from Fred. John Garfield doesn't either! If you get to see The Postman Always Rings Twice, it's like, "who's that guy who sounds like Fred Flintstone? Oh, it IS Fred Flintstone!" At the very end, John Garfield beats him up.

I noticed how VH-1 never shows Angelic Upstarts videos anymore. Just like TV Land. Remember the big hit from The Angelic Upstarts?

You wind me up like A Clockwork Orange
Then you hide the key to my destination
No satisfaction, it's all frustration
The times are changin, they're changin me

Open the cage, let free the animals
Running wild, we're hardened criminals
No satisfaction, it's all frustration

Is my image right?
For your fashion parade
If you don't look right
YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED!

Cool Cool That one I don't know. I do know the John Wayne classic Angel and the Badman. One of my personal favorites. Cool

Hey is it just me ??? In a couple of episodes was Joe Rockhead at Fred's house, with Wilma, before Fred got home from the quarry? Who needs
Peyton Place when you've got Bedrock. Wink N

When I was a girl , I used to watch a program starring Steve mcQueen as a bounty hunter named Josh Randall. It was in black and white, dubbed in French and was called "Au nom de la Loi".
I now realize that I had a terrible crush on Steve McQueen. He was still very young in that program. Smile

He was alive then. Sadly no more. Sad
