I've had this little signature box for quite some time hidden in my photobucket stash and it fits me to a "T" because of the mood I've been for the last month. So I decided to try it out Whoever created that little box is someone completely outside of one and I thank her for putting it in photobucket.
It's a scary thought of outsiders peaking in on us with a video camera, Sue Marie. Bad enough that I do what I do here and everyone all over the world is seeing it just in typed wording. To have someone actually see "me" is a daunting thing to think about.... My picture has been on here a time or two and I'd prefer if it never was on here again. |

Do you what is even scarrier than skype? Google earth is getting very bold. The other day, my husband was able to pull up our street along with a panaramic view of our home. You could actually see our cars parked. It would have been easy for someone to zero in on our tag numbers.
Back in March, some vehical came down our road with some strange cameras attached to the roof. I thought they may have been some news crew covering a story of some sort. Not only that, but we were able to pull up my old house in Michigan.
We also pulled up the Holiday Inn where the WSW folks stayed. No privacy for the Burbank folks.
What I don't understand is why anyone would be interested in our "middle of nowhere," area. We are no one special, just regular folks doing regular folks things.
I can understand someone being curious about what different areas look like, but to get so close as to see houses, cars, and critters in the yard.... now that's getting a bit too nosey in my opinion. |

We've done that, too. Could see the house, the whole block, etc. And it's truly alarming the kind of stuff that's out there now. It's only a matter of time before before they've got gadgets that can see through walls! Why people want to snoop and pry is beyond me. I get embarrassed if we're driving through the rich parts of town during Christmas and can see through those mansions' windows with all the lights blazing. They want to be seen and I still feel like a voyeur. |
