Ok, well I did and you didn't? I'll be 41 this Aug. To me that's semi old |
Nah, chronological age is unavoidable; growing old is optional.
 |
How right you are, Spock1! I plan to be a teenager by the time I'm in my 60's! I just love all the Tom Baker stuff you're posting! |

Tom Baker ponders 'Doctor Who' return
Tom Baker has admitted that he may be persuaded to make an appearance in the revived series of Doctor Who.
The 74-year-old actor, who played the fourth incarnation of the Time Lord between 1974 and 1981, told Kent News: "Perhaps I might make a guest appearance - perhaps. Providing they ask me nicely, of course."
However, Baker revealed that he has never watched the hit BBC One series on the television: "I don’t actually watch it. I didn’t even watch it when I was in it, for all sorts of reasons... but I do get messages from David Tennant and I have seen him in other things of course. He has been a huge success and I am very pleased about that."
Last year, Baker's successor Peter Davison reprised his role as the Fifth Doctor alongside the show's current star David Tennant in a special Children In Need episode entitled 'Time Crash'.

Just saw "Midnight". I don't know why but they skipped the second part of "Library". Midnight was the most creepiest one so far. It was really scary. I was watching it and my husband complained that it was dragging when the shadow creature kept repeating everyone's words. To me that would be hell. Being stuck in a confined room with a bunch of semi-strangers who are repeating everything I say. I'd go bonkers. For that reason alone I thought this episode was well worth watching. It makes a person really jittery watching this. I was panicking watching how base and immoral these people are when they're trying to save their own skins. They'd actually shove someone out into a dangerous enviroment. That's extremely low. |

To use a famous quote; "what a dump".
A huge, humungous, unending piece of tripe was "Midnight" and it served up no more acting ability than bulging eyes in the two main characters.
Why they made this one after such a good streak of top thrillers, is beyond me.
Surely (and don't call me Shirley) they can do better than this. |

Can I call you Betty instead? Or Max Klinger? I love it in Mash when Klinger flounces into the swamp and says "What a dump!" and Hawkeye says to BJ that it was his home decorator. My favorite Mash lines of all time.
I was impressed with the claustrophic atmosphere, the panic, and the way those two could snap off those lines simultaneously. But, my husband would have to agree with you whole heartedly, Spock1, that it was annoying episode, long drawn out. But to me, it's still creepy because that's what hell would be like to me. |

The next story you see should be "Turn left", which isn't that bad, except for the fact it's another of those " what if" stories. There's not much of the Doctor in it, it's all about Donna , but it does recap alot of the events right from the "Runaway Bride" right throughout series 4, but from a totally different perspective . |

| hmm, sounds like a "filler" or a "bridge episode". I'll watch just so I don't lose the flow of things for the ending. |

If you don't mind a spoiler watch to the very end, of the closing credits for a sneak peek at the upcoming Cybermen Christmas special.

Wow. Fantastic clip and it will keep me watching just when "Midnight' seemed to doom my interest.
IYO, how far behind am I ..before I start seeing this...the clip was part 7
Thanks.
Oi! Did they say at the end of the clip that there is a BOOK that covers this....my hearing isn't great and replay didn't help any. |
