I never did get to see Roswell when it was on TV but have nearly finished watching the first season which I recently got.

Great series with a lot of very familiar faces. I noticed its a Johnathan Frakes directed series as well.

Some really good young actors in this one including Kathrine Heigle (spelin ?) who of course has gone on to much more.

Yes, great show. Over here in Sweden they showed the first season, waited a while, showed the first season again, waited awhile, showed the first season again, showed the first half of the second season, waited awhile, showed the first and second season, waited awhile, showed the second season, waited awhile, promised the third season, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, no promos, suddenly showed the first part of the third season late at night, never showed the end of the third season.... After several years you get so tired of waiting for them to show anything in context so you get it on dvd...

Anyway, except for a little too much emphasis on teenage lovemaking, it's a great story that I enjoy watching over and over again.

Never heard of Raines and Wolf Lake. There is a real dearth of sci-fi on Swedish TV. They just launched a special cable sci-fi channel, showing classics like Thunderbirds, DS9 (which they never showed in Sweden), VOY, Babylon 5, Moonbase Alpha, and a bunch of others that I've never seen. Unfortunately I don't get that channel...

T'Lor

Sci Fi is very poorly dealt with on Australian TV hence missing so many great TV series here, Andromeda for exampple was never shown and while Roswell was late at night I doubt we got all of it.

I saw DS9 all out of order over about 10 years so I will sit down and watch mums set one day as t was meant to be.

Thank god for downloading Laughing

TV Land had a great special on the subject called, "Roswell 1947". TV Land had recently uncovered some 8mm amateur film showing some Americans shooting the aliens. The aliens were desperately trying to communicate in peace with the Americans, but you know how stereotypes are true! Those damn Americans shot first and asked questions later. Typical! If the Americans weren't so stupid, the aliens may have had the solution to world famine and human/animal suffering. But, no. The Americans shot them all...then shot themselves...then shot at the sky, creating a giant black hole that will eventually gobble up the universe and all life contained within. How typical.
