| How about showing some old Get Smart episodes? I don't care if you show the ones where Max is driving the Sunbeam Tiger with the big 8 cylinder engine or the ones with Max driving the Volkswagon Karmann Ghia. Maybe an episode with the Opel GT. So, how about it, TV Land? |

I ****ing hate TV Land! They stopped showing early Buster Keaton and Keystone Cops movies! You pay for a subscription, expecting to get silent movies (preferably before 1900), and you end up with trash such as Get Smart, The Prisoner, Kojak, The Beverley Hillbillies, Bewitched, I Love Lucy, The Munsters and the frigging Addams Family! For crying out loud!!! I pay for grainy, almost destroyed film, not digitally enhanced fluff from the 50s and 60s! I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. How dare J.J. Abraham Lincoln have the gall to remake Star Wars! It will flop, mark my words with a double juicy fat marker pen! |

NOOOOO! Say it ain't so, Harry! He's going to do that? First he cuts the older Kirk out of the Trek film and now he wants to remake our beloved Star Wars epics that has Skywalker and Solo? What a frickin' nightmare! Ain't nothing sacred anymore? I grew up worshipping at Solo's feet. The Millennium Falcon was the best ship ever second from the NC 1701 Enterprise! How dare him! You bring up some good points that make me furious at TV Land! I'm even MORE out of my mind with anger!! Those people at TV Land better wake up! TV Land needs to put up 2 "walls".
1. No more color! I want everything to be black & white. People like that.
2. No more sound! Just like the silent days. If there's to be any sound, it MUST be an orchestra that was conducted by Charlie Chaplin...or maybe Syd Chaplin. Who needs dialogue?? OVERRATED!!

Why not? I personally do not perceive a great deal of constructiveness to belittling my criticisms of TV Land. I mean, it`s not like my attitude regarding TV Land programming is a singular aberration. All anyone has to do is visit TVLand.com and peruse their forums to see that multitudes of other people have the selfsame aberration. |

I, along with most people here, enjoy reading about TV Land. It's just that I stopped seeing posts about it, so I thought I'd better remind the folks about what's going on...in TV Land. I thought maybe we were becoming too complacent, too willing to be spoon-fed this garbage they call, "TV Land Prime Time".
Hey, I'm willing to compromise. What about limiting the number of TV Land posts to, say, 20 or 30 per day. The rest of the time, we could talk about something else, like TV Land.com or TV Land circa 2001 or maybe something completely different, such as TV Land's retro commercials they used to broadcast. Whatever happened to TV Land's retro commercials??? |

CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! THE CHEEK! #*!#ing TV Land put the 1931 version of Frankenstein, starring Boris Karloff and directed by James Whale!!!! Doesn't TV Land know what their viewers want? WE WANT FILMS FROM PRIOR 1920 NOW!!!!
I DEMAND... YES, DEMAND, that they broadcast the far superior 1910 Thomas Edison version of Frankenstein, starring the legendary chill-maker, Charles Ogle! What Ogle achieved in the history of horror cinema, dwarfs any Karloff, Lugosi or Chaney Jnr.
Right, I must go back to flooding TV Land's boards, until justice is dealt. |

TV Land has a problem with the nineteen teens! They keep ignoring anything made before 1920 and they're gonna go to jail for that mistake!

Half of them (9.5) are claiming to be teens, but they may actually be tweens. Of the remaining 9.5 teens, 9 of them are techno geeks who communicate with TV Land's upper echelon by using this brand new innovation called a Telegram-o-Phone Machine. They are leaving TV Land messages like, "Am thoroughly bamboozled by your recent decisions. Stop. What the blazes is going on? Stop. 23-skidoo. Stop."
The remaining .5 teen/tween lives in Pithole City, Pennsylvania. Not a peep out of this .5 person yet. |
