Post subject: DISAPPOINTED!

I was all ready for a return trip to Egypt for a month, this August. Really, really excited. However, I just got a legal e-mail from Tokyo's main courthouse, informing me that my travel agent went bankrupt!!!! I paid a $200 deposit towards the $1600 ticket. Thankfully, I didn't pay the whole lot yet, and was planning to do so next week. That's the good news. The bad news is that I cannot get a cheap ticket to Cairo, and prices everywhere around the globe are horrible.
I now have two choices: 1. Visit my brother and friends in LA and other parts of the US. 2. Go to India and hang-out in the Himalaya. I can still get a cheap(ish) ticket to India... and I love it as much as Egypt. Hmm, I'll sleep on it over the weekend.
DAMN, I'm disappointed.

| Harry, I guy I work with had to go back to India for family reasons. His name is Vishal, so go to India and meet this dude. He's a really good guy. So help me, if you don't get that 200 bucks back, I may have to get involved and get very, very violent until you get your dough back. |

Hope you get to go.  Egypt has always been one of the places I've always wanted to visit. Which areas are you visiting? Will you be going to Alexandria, the Valley of the Kings? I can't wait for the pictures, of course. |

I hope that we can do that at some point. That would be a lot of fun, to say the least.
I'll find out tomorrow about my seat status to Egypt. If it is a no-go, then I will seriously consider heading to LA to see my brother. Although we did some work together, last year (via Internet), I haven't actually met with him in three years. Too long! |
