I actually have tears streaming down my cheeks now seeing the fellas all together again like that.  My husband had bought me the anthology tapes that year for my birthday and I'd watched the special on tv, too. It must have been about three or four hours long. George sure could play that lead guitar. It was really great, Danny. Thankyou.  |

I was wondering where that footage was from. My other favorite songs of their's was While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Blackbird, Norwegian Wood, and Strawberry Fields. I think in their younger days they did a great job of singing the pop songs of their generation, like Twist and Shout, but I really think they started to hit their stride with their own origionals. Some day I hope to collect all of their movies, too. I had a good portion of dvds but my son of course borrowed them and never gave them back.  Kids are funny that way. They don't think you're cool but they rip off your music collection.  I hope to get some more some day |
