"The Place Where The Nuts Hunt The Squirrels" by Napoleon XIV
I live in a place where the nuts hunt the squirrels
In a place where the nuts hunt the squirrels, ha-ha
It’s a beautiful spot where I don’t think a lot
And mostly I don’t think of girls like you, hoo ha
I don’t think of girls like you!
When I think of the traffic, and horns
And lights that flash and signs that blink
And say "Don’t walk" and subways that roar
And brakes that skreech
And noisy men drilling holes in the streets!
I’m mad for that place where the nuts hunt the squirrels
Where the people all smile and I play, ha-ha
And I spend all my time skipping rocks at the ducks
And I don’t think of girls like you, hoo ha
I don’t think of girls like you!
You drove me to this and you know that you did
To the place where the nuts hunt the squirrels, ha-ha
But I couldn’t care less ‘cause my life was a mess
So who needs the human race, ha-ha
I don’t need the human race!
I don’t have any use for girls like you
Who tell me what I should say and do
And how I should cut my hair
And shave my shoes and shine my face
And live like a nut in the human race!
So I’m mad for this place where the nuts hunt the squirrels
And it’s here I shall always remain, ha-ha
It’s here I shall always remain
But there’s just one complaint I’ve had so far
They’re trying to drive me sane, hee hee
They’re trying to drive me sane, ho ho
They’re trying to drive me sane, ha-ha
They’re trying to drive me sane, hee hee
They’re trying to drive me sane, ho ho
They’re trying to drive me sane, ha-ha
They’re trying to drive me sane, hee hee
They’re trying to drive me sane! |

Not really riding all that much. I've been tearing out the kitchen floor, three separate layers of really bad linolium (sp?), and had to replace the sub floor because of water damage from a long time ago. I finally got it all done today. Tomorrow I start laying tile. Isn't it great to have the summer off to rest & relax?
Had the computer on all day, and been checking in here when I took a break. Damn it's hot here!
At the moment I'm making spaghetti for the girls, Bridget has her crew over and they are all staying for dinner. After that, I'm going for a ride. I may be on later on tonight if you're around.
Hope you start to feel better soon.

Shock!
I got a new life
You would hardly recognize me
I’m so glad
How can a person like me care for you
Why do I bother
When you’re not the one for me
Is enough enough
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
Life is demanding without understanding
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
No one’s gonna drag you up
To get into the light where you belong
But where do you belong
Under the pale moon
For so many years I’ve wondered
Who you are
How can a person like you bring me joy
Under the pale moon
Where I see a lot of stars
Is enough enough
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
Life is demanding without understanding
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
No one’s gonna drag you up
To get into the light where you belong
But where do you belong
I saw the sign and it opened up my mind
And I am happy now
Living without you
I’ve left you all alone
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
No one’s gonna drag you up
To get into the light where you belong
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign |

Here's a nice wholesome couple that made the "where are they now" column.
I wonder if "it" was Abby Normal for the movie?
John and Lorena Bobbitt
John exploited his infamous phallus by appearing in adult films, including one titled "Frankenpenis." He currently lives in Las Vegas and, The Associated Press reports, has worked everywhere from a brothel to a moving company. He married Joanna Ferrell in 2002, only to face a series of domestic battery charges, resulting in one conviction and two acquittals, most recently in 2006. Their divorce is pending. In addition, John was sentenced to five years' probation for participating in a 1999 clothing store robbery. As for Lorena, she was charged with and acquitted of assaulting her mother in 1997. She still lives in Virginia and, according to Biography.com, works as a hairstylist. |

Doesn't the pic at right make you want to take a little magnet and move his beard to the top of his head? |

Ok, folks, we at the old casa had to cut some corners on internet service for budgetting purposes and we're on dial-up now. It sucks and it's slower than molasses, but it's better than nothing and beggars can't be choosers. My forays into the lovely psychotic mess that's the Rubber Room are going to be limited because I've gotten spoiled and I'm about ready to concuss myself right now on this computer desk because it takes forever for a page to load! Anyhoo, keep up the fine work. And when I've mastered some calming deep breathing techniques instead of the shallow panicky breaths that make me want to keel over in a dead faint, I'll be able to post more without having having hissies. Hopefully I'll be getting used to this dial-up. |
