I picked up season one while in Sydney last week and I have seen the first five episodes. As soon as I saw Gene Roddenberry as the writer I had to take a look.. I am glad I did, what a great series.
This was never shown in Australia so I had assumed it was new so I was supprised to see it is ten years old and was made before Andromeda (I notice his wife is Beka Valentine).
I also noticed it has Majel Barret acting and Majel Rodenberry directing, one in the same of course.
Sci Fi is very poorly trat on TV here, Andromeda was never shown either other than on Pay TV. I believe there is about five seasons of Earth.
Looking forward to discovering more. |

I used to enjoy that show when it first came out, but then it got rather bizarre. It is like the writers couldn't make up their minds where to go with the story.
Same thing happened with Babylon 5.
Oh well, what can I say? The writers are only as good as our school system, which has degraded to the point of teachers not knowing how to teach the basics and students not giving a damn. |
