Post subject: Meeting Bill at Book Soup in LA!!!!

OMG. I am still getting over the thrill of meeting Bill in person this past Saturday at Book Soup in Los Angeles! He was so captivating I could barely say my name. Here's how our encounter (which my husband caught on tape) went:
William Shatner looks up and smiles at me as he signs my book. I am so mesmerized by him that I go blank and forget to even say hello. Finally, I manage to say something.
Me: That's me, I'm Minnie.
My Husband: (noticing I'm speechless) She's in your fan club, Bill.
Bill: Oh, thank you, Minnie. Nice to meet you.
Me: (giddy) Nice to meet you!
I walk away giggling like a schoolgirl while other fans comment on how excited I am. I will always cherish this moment.

| I'm happy to say that I know the feeling. I got to meet Bill for a book signing in New York (look for the thread halfway down the page), and it was a brief but thrilling experience! Congratulations on your very awesome day! |
